It gives us immense pleasure to share that the Department of School Education and Literacy (MoE) and National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) with UGC and AICTE are organizing a National Webinar on “Quality Education, Accreditation and Teacher Development” on 6th August 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:35 p.m. The webinar will be graced by Dr. Jitendra Singh, MoS to Prime Minister’s Office as the Chief Guest.
Eight days long theme based National Webinars have been scheduled from 29th July to 10th August 2021 by the various Ministries/Departments/Organizations such as DoHE, DoSEL, NCERT, UGC, AICTE, NCTE, DoS and MoSD&E on NEP related themes to mark the occasion of celebrating One Year of National Education Policy 2020,
The NEP 2020 envisions the establishment of a new educational system that is designed to achieve the aspirational goals of the twenty-first century education model. As a result, the National Educational Policy (NEP) aspires to contribute to the modification of the Indian Education System which is directly responsible for the overhauling of Teacher Education.
The gaining importance of this 8 days long theme-based webinars can be gauged from the potential impact of quality with equity in Foundational to Higher education learning for a greater leap in our country’s growth. The emergence of new trends has been embraced using technology in NEP 2020.
